About Acacia wood:
- Acacia is water-resistant properties means it won't warp.
- Acacia is highly resistant to fungus and being naturally antibacterial, it is safe to use for preparing and serving food.
- The multiple variations in wood color from light to dark brown add to the charm.
Handmade board:
- As with any handmade board, minor imperfections such as few squares not lining up 100% or minor scratches in wood are very normal.
- Please note: Only 100% natural wood is used. We never use any kind of stains on our wood.
- In an end grain board, the inside part of the wood is exposed so the wood's character and graining will be visible on the board as we do not use any stains to cover this. THESE ARE NOT MARKS ON THE BOARD, JUST THE WOOD CHARACTER (EG. SMALL WHITE, BLACK MARKS, INDENTS, DISCOLORATION ETC).
Our boards are sanded with 80 upto 400 grit to achieve a smooth glass like surface and come ready for use.
